SHORT FILMS | |
Among the Dead (2006) - In "Among the Dead,"
I play I play Ulcer Macabre, a guy with a few issues about life, the dead,
and his place among them. When Ulcer is visited by two ghosts, he's forced to reconsider his approach to life.
Broken Hearts Anonymous (2009) - In "Broken Hearts Anonymous," I play Randal Foster, a guy who can't get over his ex-girlfriend...
and the support group he's urged to attend doesn't help at all.
Chemistry (2007) -
In "Chemistry," I play Jack, a nervous geeky guy who works in a lab, but who can be easily
manipulated by a coworker with a pretty face... but this is all about to change.
Don't Shoot the Angel (2011) - In "Don't Shoot the Angel," I play Ray Coppola, a quiet and indrawn man without many friends who focuses
on pursuing his dream to become a writer. I also play three other characters that exist only in Ray's mind.
Dreamcatcher (2005) - In "Dreamcatcher," I play an extremely depressed guy who's so
miserable about something that he hates waking-up in the morning. I also wrote and directed this film.
The Great Office War (2008) - In "The Great Office War," I play an IT tech who becomes a
warrior when an epic Nerf war breaks out between the IT guys and the sales team. It's a lot of fun to watch.
The Great Venice Robbery (2007) - "The Great Venice Robbery" is about a group of vagrant who get together and plan a heist.
I play a rather weird photographer who has some interaction with one of the film's main
characters.
Heart vs. Hormone (2010) - In "Heart vs. Hormone," I play a shy guy who has been
invited over to a girl's apartment. His actions are controlled by three physical manifestations that only he
can see: Heart, Hormone and Brain. There is no dialogue in this film.
Love is Deaf - Short Version (2009) - "Love is Deaf" is the story Richie, who
thinks his deaf girlfriend might be intentionally farting in front of him, and Frank, who has to deal with his girlfriend suddenly
becoming the hot one in the relationship. I play Frank, who is easily the more neurotic and
conversationally random of the duo.
Love is Deaf - Long Version (2009) - This is a much longer version of "Love is Deaf" which
includes lengthy scenes at the beginning and the end. Very funny.
Man-Away (2007) - In Man-Away, I play David, a guy who won't take no for an answer.
In his mind, his ex-girlfriend, Jessica, is still his girlfriend. Jessica is forced to takes
bold steps to let him know they're finished.
Meet Me in Space (2009) - "Meet Me in Space" is the story of Jerry, a comic book writer who can't talk to women.
He has a crush on his neighbor, Nancy, and longs to be her hero. He creates a comic book about "Gerald Rocket," a super hero astronaut
who always saves the day, and the girl. I play Jerry.
Misdemeanor Revenge (2007) - In "Misdemeanor Revenge," I play the "Pie Guy." I
appear in two different commercials advertising a new revenge company. If you blink, you'll miss me.
Modern Triptych (2011) - "Modern Triptych" is the story of three couples that go to an art gallery, and who come
to realize that they're not with the right partners. I play George, the awkward one of the group.
My Darling Ranchero (2010) - In "My Darling Ranchero,"
I play Mike, a guy who proposes to his Mexican girlfriend... but then has to win over her very
traditional ranchero father. There is no dialogue in this film.
Patrick's First Party (2008) - In "Patrick's First Party," I play Patrick, a geeky USC student who is about to experience his
very first college party. It's a fun little film.
Reverse Psychology (2007) - "Reverse Psychology," It tells the story of a psychiatrist and his patient...
but who's the doctor and who's the patient? (Hint: One of them is me).
Satan VHS (2009) - In "Satan VHS," I play Steve, a strange guy who spends all his
time hanging-out in a video store and hatching crazy schemes. It's a very abstract film and not for everyone.
Self Rescue (2011) - "Self Rescue" is a short film presentation that was made to raise funds for another short film, "Don't Shoot the Angel."
In the film, I play Ray Coppola, a quiet and indrawn man without many friends who focuses on pursuing his dream to become a writer. It is a slightly different version of the character I play in "Don't Shoot the Angel."
Super Secret Service (2012) - In "Super Secret Service," I play Michael, an employee of Brentwood Market who's victimized by a
hypnotized television personality... and is then victimized again by an incompetent detective.
Teh Guild (2007) - "Teh Guild" is about a young man who is invited to join World of Warcraft club called "Teh Guild."
But before he can join, he has to hear "the lore of the guild," as told by the guild's mysterious leader. I play the leader,
as well as the very geeky version of God in his story.

WEBSERIES: "D DON'T DATE" |
D Don't Date - The Trailer -
"D Don't Date" chronicles the misadventures of a girl named D. Along with friends, and sometimes
her creepy neighbor/stalker, D manages to get into all sorts of wacky situations. I play
Richard, the creepy neighbor who has a massive crush on D. This is the trailer.
Episode 1 - D and the Dry Spell -
This is the fist episode of the series and does a marvelous job of introducing all the characters, and also illustrating how inept D is at dating.
Episode 3 - D Does a Drive-by - In this episode, Richard has the privilege of participating in
a stake-out with D and her friends.
Episode 4 - D and the Douche - This is not a big Richard episode, it's mostly
about D and a guy she's has a crush on since college... but Richard does show up briefly, and he dances.
Episode 5 - D vs. the One Upper - This is also not a big Richard episode, it's mostly about D competing with her number one rival...
but Richard makes a brief appearance.
Episode 6 - D and the Apology Challenge - In this episode, one of D's friends has
to humilate himself to show her he's sorry, and Richard has a front row seat for the apology.
Episode 7 - D Does Dating Tips - In this episode, D's friends, and Richard, stage
an "intervention" to stop D from saying stupid things on her dates.

WEBSERIES: "OH... IT'S THOSE GUYS" |
Episode 1 - Best Friends -
"Oh... It's Those Guys" chronicles the misadventures of a group of wacky guys. I play Jeff,
who isn't one of the core characters, but always turns up somewhere in the episode. This is
the fist episode of the series.
Episode 2 - GOS: Going Out Shirt - In this episode, the guys tackle the issue of fasion and what to wear when you go
out... Jeff is not judged a good dresser.
Episode 3 - The Christmas Room - In this episode, the guys discover a secret room in their house and they have to decide what to do with it, and of
course Jeff is there to help.

"Bad Advice with Michael Beardsley" is a satirical video series in which advice is given... but it’s very bad advice. I play myself in it…
or rather a much stupider version of myself. In this episode, I talk about how to properly prepair a submission for a talent agency.

Shop Brentwood Village for the Holidays - Internet Commercial (2011) - In my Brentwood Village commercial, I play a loving husband
who, along with his wife, visits twenty of the businesses in Brentwood Village. My scenes are intercut with another couple.

Fox Rent-A-Car - "Fox Choice" (2010) - In this Fox Rent-A-Car commercial, I play Mr. Wiggins,
the indecisive husband who, along with his indecisive wife and indecisive baby, is trying to rent a car.

Ironweed - "Political Lightweights" (2009) - In this Ironweed commercial I did,
I play a self-proclaimed "Tree-Hugging Activist" who thinks himself an extremely
liberal friend to the environment. He's not as liberal as he thinks.
Keep it Klean - 30-Second TV Commercial (2010) - In this commercial, I play a doctor
who gets very excited when I see a "Keep it Klean" truck drive by. I'm not very prominent in this one.

FILMED SCENES |
Breach (2011) -
As part of a class at UCLA, I did a short scene form the 2007 film Breach. In it, I play Robert Hanssen, an FBI agent
who is secretly selling secrets to foreign agents. In the scene, Hanssen has to does with a new assistant,
Agent Eric O'Neill, whom he does not trust. We shot it in less then an hour, but I think it came out rather good.

Cleansed (2007) -
As part of a class at USC, I did a short scene form Cleansed, a play written by Sarah Kane.
In it, I play Robin, a rertarded guy in a mental institution who's being taught to write
by a troubled young woman named Grace, who sees visions of her dead brother/lover
